Barcelona City Council, Tourism Barcelona and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce renewed our Biosphere Tourism Sustainability certificate.
The Biosphere Certified label is awarded after verifying that sustainable practices are being implemented correctly. It is a guarantee that the Emilio Sánchez Academy is fulfilling its commitments. The Commitment bases its methodology on the work around the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
Attributes: Km0 Prioritise and use food from the immediate local environment (reduction of CO2 emissions).
(Recycling) We have bins and recycling systems for common and private use. (Renewable energies). We use renewable energies in their installations.
(Solidarity project) We participate in collaborate with and/or carry out solidarity projects in favour of the Welfare State, with initiatives with social aims.
(Local employment) Hire local employees.
