From June 18 to Sunday 25, the Emilio Sánchez Academy hosts the 42nd Edition of the MAPFRE Spanish Tennis Championships in the Alevín category in the Singles and Doubles category at its headquarters in El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona).

This is the second time that Emilio Sánchez Academy (the first was in 2020) hosts this championship that is organized annually by the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET).

The most outstanding junior tennis players on the national scene will meet on the clay courts, since they represent each of the Autonomous Communities of the country and are the best of each of these Federations.

Both male and female, will be played in a Round Robin format, so on Wednesday the doubles will be played, for Thursday to give way to the final rounds of both modalities.

Among the favourites, as seedings:

In the men's category: Rafael García (Valencia) and Tomás Martín (Baleares, Global Tennis Club).

In the female category: Paula Cortés (Aragón, Real Zaragoza Tennis Club) and Shiori García (Madrid, Tennispain European University)

The Emilio Sánchez Academy has nearly 25 years of history, holds tournaments of all categories, both national and international, and formed ATP and WTA players such as Andy Murray, Grigor Dimitrov, Juan Mónaco, Sveta Kuznetsova, Daniela Hantuchova, among others.
