Emilio Sánchez Academy has obtained the renewal of the Biosphere Certified label after verifying that the sustainable practices are being implemented correctly, which means a recognition of the services offered, aligned to a responsible model with society and the environment.

The Biosphere certification is awarded by the Responsible Tourism Institute, a certification aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the World Charter for Sustainable Tourism and the guidelines of the United Nations Agenda 2030.

This renewal is in recognition of the Emilio Sanchez Academy, respecting the environment, sustainability and local economic development at its headquarters in Barcelona. The headquarters is located in El Prat de Llobregat, an area of high ecological value.

These values are transmitted to employees and student-athletes (Barcelona and Florida Campus), thanks to actions throughout the year. For example, student-athletes instead of use plastic, they have their own water bottles, and also  they have been part of the #fridaysforfuture movement to raise awareness about climate change.

Emilio Sánchez Academy maintains a line of work with various attributes and actions, such as Km0 (prioritizing and using local food), reduction of CO2 emissions, recycling systems for common and private use, use of renewable energies, involvement in solidarity projects participating and collaborating in social issues.
